Population of the Pavlodar region as of March 1, 2025 amounted to 750 thousand people, including 534,3 thousand people (71,2%) – urban residents, 215,7 thousand people (28,8%) – rural residents.
Natural population growth in January-February 2025 amounted to 238 people (in the corresponding period of the previous year – 264 people).
For January-February 2025 the number of births was 1330 people (13,1% less than in January-February 2024), the number of deaths was 1092 people (13,8% less than in January February 2024).
The migration balance is negative and amounted to – -1229 people (in January-February 2024 – -711 people), including in external migration a positive balance of – 39 people (-66), in internal migration a negative balance of – -1268 people (-645).
The number of unemployed in the IV quarter of 2024 amounted to 19,3 thousand people.
The unemployment rate was 4,7% of the labor force.
The number of persons registered with employment agencies as unemployed as of April 1, 2025 amounted to 11997 people, or 2,9% of the labor force.
The average monthly nominal wages accrued to employees (excluding small enterprises engaged in entrepreneurial activities) in the IV quarter of 2024 amounted to 408370 tenge, an increase compared to the IV quarter of 2023 amounted to 10%.
The real wage index in IV quarter 2024 was 101,9%.
In the IV quarter of 2024 the average per capita nominal cash income of the population of the region, according to the estimate, amounted to 242494tenge, which is 14,7% higher than in IV quarter 2023, the growth rate of real cash income for the specified period is 106,2%.
The volume of industrial production at current prices in January-March 2025 amounted to 951663,5 million tenge, which is 4,1% more than in January-March 2024.
In the manufacturing industry, production volumes 8%, in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning air there was – by 1,8%, in water supply; sanitation; waste collection, treatment and disposal, pollution elimination activities – by 3,7% increased by, in the мining and quarrying decreased by 3,5%.
The volume of gross output of of agriculture, forestry and fisheries products (services) in January-March 2025 amounted to 37232,4 million tenge, or 104,9% by January- March 2024.
The volume of cargo turnover in January-March 2025 amounted to 8795,2 million tkm (taking into account the assessment of the volume of cargo turnover of individual entrepreneurs engaged in commercial transportation), or 128,8% compared to January- March 2024. The volume of passenger traffic – 481,9 million pkm, or 107,4% by January-March 2024.
The volume of construction works (services) amounted to 33027,4 million tenge, or 132,7% of the corresponding period of last year.
In January-March 2025, the total area of commission housing increased by 13,2% and amounted to 54169 square meters, 128% of which in apartment buildings – (8466 square meters). The total area of commissioned individual residential increased by 2,1% (45085 square meters).
The volume of investments in fixed capital in January-March 2025 amounted to 143,2 million tenge, or 100% of the corresponding period of last year.
The number of registered legal entities as of April, 2025 amounted to 17015 units and decreased by 1,3% compared to the corresponding date of the previous year, including 16667 units with less than 100 employees. The number of operating legal entities amounted to 14326 units, including 13978 units - small businesses. The number of registered small and medium enterprises (legal entities) in the region amounted to 14458 units and decreased by 1% compared to the corresponding date of the previous year.
The volume of gross regional product for January-September 2024 amounted to 3026319,9 million tenge at current prices. Compared to the corresponding period of January-September 2023, real GRP increased by 5,5%. In the structure of GRP, the share of production of goods amounted to 55%, services – 38,3%.
The consumer price index in March 2025 compared to December 2024 was 103,1%.
Prices for food products increased by 5,2%, non-food products – by 2,4%, paid services for the population – by 1,3%. The prices of enterprises producing industrial products in March 2025 ompared to December 2024 increased by 0,6%.
The volume of retail trade in January-March 2025 amounted to 137917,7 million tenge, or 2,2% more than the corresponding period in 2024.
The volume of wholesale trade in January-March 2025 amounted to 190517,3 million tenge, or 41,2% more than the corresponding period in 2024.
According to preliminary data, in January-February 2025, mutual trade with the EAEU countries amounted to 247,2 million US dollars and increased by 1,8% compared to January-February 2024, including exports –148,7 million US dollars (by 1,9% more), imports – 98,5 million US dollars (6,9% less).
