The population of the region as of November 1, 2023 amounted to 698,6 thousand people, including 311,1 thousand people (44.5%) - urban, 387,5 thousand people (55.5%) - rural residents.
The natural increase in the population in January-October 2023 amounted to 7235 people (in the corresponding period of the previous year - 7520 people). In January- October 2023, newborns were registered by 2,7% less than in January- October 2022, deaths - by 0,7% less.
The migration balance is negative and amounted to -7380 people (in January- October 2022 - 7551 people), including in external migration - +62 (-283), in internal - -7442 people (-7268 people).
Average per capita nominal monetary income of the population according to the assessment in IІ quarter of 2023 amounted to 120890 tenge and increased compared to IІ quarter 2022 aby 17,9% ,real cash income for the specified period increased by 1,4%.
The volume of retail trade in January-October 2023 amounted to 179 933.9 thousand tenge, or 7,6% more than the corresponding period in 2022 .
The volume of wholesale trade in January-October 2023 amounted to 306 355 thousand tenge, or 2,2 times higher than the corresponding period in 2022.
The number of unemployed in the III quarter of 2023 amounted to 15,5 thousand people. The unemployment rate was 4,8% of the labor force. The number of persons registered with employment agencies as unemployed at the end of III quarter 2023 amounted to 15948 people, or 4,7 of the workforce.
The average monthly nominal wages accrued to employees (excluding small enterprises engaged in entrepreneurial activities) in the III th quarter of 2023 amounted to 259690 tenge, an increase from the III th quarter of 2022 amounted to 21.1%. The real wage index in the III th quarter of 2023 was 106,8%.
The volume of gross regional product for January-June 2023 of the yearamounted to 695 511,5 million tenge, or by the corresponding period of 2022 112,6%. In the structure of GRP, the share of production of goods was 33,5%, services 57,9% net taxes on products 8,6% .
The volume of industrial production in January - October 2023 amounted to KZT 253 513,2 million at current prices, which is 3,1% more than in January - October 2022. In the mining industry, production volumes decreased by 42,5%, in the manufacturing industry – by 3,9%. In the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air–conditioned air, production volumes increased by 4,9%, in water supply, collection, processing and disposal of waste, pollution elimination activities - by 10,9%.
The volume of gross output of agricultural products (services) in January-Oktober 2023 amounted to 417184,1 million tenge, which is 1,5% more than in January- Oktober 2022.
The volume of construction work (services) amounted to 165 077,6 million tenge, or 147.6 % against January-October 2022 .
The volume of cargo turnover in January-October 2023 amounted to 11 735,1 million tkm compared to the same period last year, the main indicators of the Transport industry ), or 92,4% compared to January-October 2022. The volume of passenger traffic is 556,6 million pkm, or 94,4% by January-October 2022.
The volume of investments in fixed assets in January- October 2023 amounted to 240 737,4 million tenge, or 119.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2022.
The number of registered legal entities as of November 1 , 2023 amounted to 8 361 units and increased by 4,2% compared to the corresponding date of the previous year ,including 8129 units with less than 100 employees. The number of operating legal entities amounted to 6507 units, among which 6277 units are small enterprises. The number of registered small and medium-sized enterprises (legal entities) in the region amounted to 6244 units and increased by 6.2 % compared to the corresponding date of the previous year.
CPI in November 2023 compared to October 2023 amounted to 100,6%. Prices for food products by increased 0,5%, non-food products by 0,2%, paid services for the population by 1,2%.
