The number of unemployed in the III quarter of 2025 amounted to 20 thousand people.
The unemployment rate was 5,1% of the labor force.
The number of persons registered with employment agencies as unemployed as of January 1, 2026 amounted to 13155 people, or 3,4% of the labor force.
The average monthly nominal wages accrued to employees (excluding small enterprises engaged in entrepreneurial activities) in the III quarter of 2025 amounted to 606125 tenge, an increase compared to the III quarter of 2024 amounted to 6,3%.
The real wage index in III quarter 2025 was 95,8%.
In the III quarter of 2025 the average per capita nominal cash income of the population of the region, according to the estimate, amounted to 266347 tenge, which is 6,8% higher than in III quarter 2024, the rate of decline in real cash income for the specified period is 3,8%.
The volume of industrial production in January-December 2025 amounted to 3277419 million tenge in current prices, which is 0,5% more in January- December 2024.
In the mining industry, production volumes decreased by 0,3%, in the manufacturing industry it increased by 4,9%, in the supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and conditioned air there was increased by 4,3%, in water supply, collection, processing and waste disposal, pollution eliminationdecreased by 1,8%.
The volume of gross output of agricultural products (services) in January-December 2025 amounted to 44114,8 million tenge, or 102,4% by January-December 2024.
The volume of cargo turnover in January-December 2025 amounted to 3740,3 million tkm (taking into account the assessment of the volume of cargo turnover of individual entrepreneurs engaged in commercial transportation), or 129% compared to January-December 2024.
The volume of passenger traffic in January-December 2025 amounted to 6842,9 million pkm, or 104,4% by January-December 2024.
The volume of construction works (services) amounted to 440737 million tenge, or 102,8% compared to January-December 2024.
In January-December 2025, the total area of housing put into operation increased by 3,2% and amounted to 858,5 thousand square meters, ofwhich in multi-apartment buildings increased by 11,3% (631,1 thousand square meters). At the same time, the total area of individual residential buildings put into operation decreased by 17,3% (219,2 thousand square meters).
The volume of investments in fixed capital in January-December 2025 amounted to 1155119,9 million tenge, or 102,2% by January-December 2024.
The number of registered legal entities as of January 1, 2026 amounted to 18906 units and increased by 7,8% compared to the corresponding date of the previous year, including 18512 units with less than 100 employees. The number of operating legal entities amounted to 16082 units, including 15688 units - small businesses. The number of registered small and medium enterprises (legal entities) in the region amounted to 16667 units and decreased by 8,7% compared to the corresponding date of the including year.
The calculation of the short-term economic indicator is carried out to ensure efficiency and is based on changes in output indices for basic sectors: agriculture, industry, construction, trade, transport and communications, accounting for over 60% of GDP.
The volume of gross regional product for January-June 2025 amounted toat current prices 2469674,2 million tenge Compared to the corresponding period of 2024, real GRP increased by 11,4%. In the structure of GRP, the share of production of goods amounted to 52,2%, services 37,1%.
The consumer price index in December 2025 compared to December 2024 was 111,9%.
Prices for food products increased by 13,9%, non-food products - by 11,5%, paid services for the population - by 8,7%.
The prices of enterprises producing industrial products in November 2025 compared to December 2024 decreased by - 12%.
The volume of retail trade in January-December 2025 amounted to 584969,3 million tenge, or 7,5% more than the corresponding period in 2024.
The volume of wholesale trade in January-December 2025 amounted to 685714,3 million tenge, or 10,2% more than the corresponding period in 2024.
According to preliminary data, in January-November 2025, mutual trade with the EAEU countries amounted to 189,4 million US dollars and decreased by 3,6% compared to January-November 2024, including exports - 17,3 million US dollars (11,2% less), imports -172,1 million US dollars (2,8% less).
