In January-December 2024, the volume of construction work increased by 13.1% and amounted to 8882.4 billion tenge.

In November 2024, 168.3 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 7.9%, including passenger cars increased by 5.2%, trucks increased by 31% and buses decreased by 14.4%.

Inflation slowed from 9.8% in 2023 to 8.6% in 2024.

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for January-September 2024 (a reported data) in relation to the appropriate period in 2023 amounted to 104,1%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 35,9%, services –57,1%.

In October 2024, 170.4 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 2.5%, including passenger cars increased by 1.6%, trucks increased by 21.4% and buses increased by 11.6%.

IPV in «the Trade» sector in January-November 2024 compared to the corresponding period last year amounted to 108.2% (January-November 2023 – 111.3%).

In November 2024, the monthly consumer price index, as in the previous month, was 0.9%.

In September 2024, 163.9 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator decreased by 3.2%, including passenger cars increased by 4%, trucks increased by 6% and buses increased by 3.6%.

Experts from the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) have conducted the second stage of the Review of the National Statistical System of Kazakhstan. At this stage of the Review, the current state of the statistical infrastructure, quality and international comparability of statistical data in the main areas of statistics are assessed.

IPV in «the Trade» sector in January-October 2024 compared to the corresponding period last year amounted to 107.3% (January-October 2023 – 110.4%).
