Production growth is observed in the mining industry and quarrying by 4.1%, manufacturing industry – by 8.9% Among the regions, the largest growth was recorded in Almaty, Zhambyl, Zhetisy, Karagandy, Soltustik Kazakhstan regions, Astana and Shymkent cities.

In February 2025, 149.2 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 9.2%, including passenger cars increased by 8%, trucks increased by 26.2% and buses decreased by 6.8%.

In February 2025, the monthly consumer price index was 1.5% (in January 2025 – 1.1%).

In the IV quarter of 2024, the unemployment rate1) in Kazakhstan, calculated according to the International Labour Organisation's methodology (who did not have a profitable occupation (job), were actively looking for it and were ready to start it), amounted to 4.6%.

The average value of nominal wages in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the IV quarter of 2024 amounted to 434982 tenge.

In January 2025, the monthly consumer price index was 1.1% (0.9% in December 2024). Food prices increased by 1.4%, paid services – by 1.1%, non–food products - by 0.6%.

In January-December 2024, the volume of construction work increased by 13.1% and amounted to 8882.4 billion tenge.

In November 2024, 168.3 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 7.9%, including passenger cars increased by 5.2%, trucks increased by 31% and buses decreased by 14.4%.

Inflation slowed from 9.8% in 2023 to 8.6% in 2024.

The physical volume index (PVI) of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for January-September 2024 (a reported data) in relation to the appropriate period in 2023 amounted to 104,1%. In the structure of GDP, the share of production of goods is 35,9%, services –57,1%.
