In January-October 2024 compared to January-October 2023, the highest growth rates of physical volume indices are observed in the sectors of agriculture (112,7%), construction (110,2%) and transportation and storage (107,9%) .

The lowest growth in physical volume indices occurred in the sectors of industry (102,6%), communication (105,7%) and trade (107,3%).

In January-October 2024 compared to January-October 2023, most regions showed positive growth rates in STEI. The highest growth rates are seen in Soltustik Kazakhstan (116,5%), Karagandy (113,7%) and Ulytau (113,4%) regions. Negative growth rates were observed in Atyrau region (92,3%).

The calculation of the short-term economic indicator is carried out to ensure timeliness and is based on changes in production indices in key sectors: agriculture, industry, construction, trade, transport, andcommunication which constitute over 60% of GDP.
