Statistics of agriculture, forestry, hunting and fisheries 
As of January 1, 2023, 46,5% of cattle were in the households of the population; 41,2% - in peasant or farm enterprises and individual entrepreneurs; 12,3% - in agricultural enterprises; for sheep and goats – 50,1%, 43,7% and 6,2%; pigs – 43,4%, 11,5% and 45,1%; poultry – 16,4%, 2% and 81,6%.
*In accordance with paragraph 2 of paragraph 10 of the Rules for the Revision of Published Official Statistical Information for statistical Purposes and on the basis of updated administrative data on household accounting, a special revision of certain indicators of livestock statistics for 2022 was carried out in relation to peasant and farm farms and households of the population
Agricultural enterprise – a legal entity or its structural unit engaged in the production, storage and processing of agricultural products the provision of services in the s of Agriculture.
Number of livestock and poultries – the number of livestock and poultries available on farms on a specific date;
The households of households include personal auxiliary households, collective gardens and vegetable gardens, summer cottages. Personal subsidiary farm is a household of the population, whose activities are aimed at satisfying their own needs on a land plot locared in rural areas and suburban areas;
Livestock productivity and poultries is an indicator characterizing Production of livestock products per 1 head of livestock and poultries. Productivity is characterized by such indicators as the average milk yield per 1 dairy cow. the average egg production per 1 laying hen, the average cut wool from 1 sheep, the average live or carcass weight of 1 heads of livestock;
Slaughtered on the farm or sold for slaughter and poultries – slaughter and poultries directly on the farm or at the slaughterhouse for using meat for own needs, for selling or issuing to organizations, enterprises and workers of the farm, Including barter deals, and selling livestock and poultries for slaughter to procurement organizations, processing enterprises, through a network of catering (canteens, restaurants, cafes), trading network, including markets, as well as on the export;
Production of livestock products – production of finished products and raw materials as a result of the use of farm animals (milk, eggs, wool, hides, etc.), slaughtering or selling for all types of livestock and poultries, bee products and fur farming;
Received offspring – the number of births of animals received from the queens belonging to the farm, without taking into account the stillborn offspring;
Livestock and poultries fell and died – the number of farm animals and poultries that died and were slaughtered as a result of illness, natural disaster, employee neglect, etc.
Data on the production of livestock products and the number of livestock and poultry are formed as follows:
- for agricultural enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and peasant or farm enterprises with more than 100 employees, obtained on the basis of the monthly report of form No. 24-сх "Report on the state of animal husbandry";
- for small individual entrepreneurs and peasant or farm enterprises - on the basis of calculations, which are based on: data from entries in the accounting books of peasant or farm enterprises, sample surveys on the production of livestock products;
- for households - on the basis of calculations, which are based on: data from entries in household books, sample surveys of households on the production of livestock products.
