The initially recorded weight is the physical mass obtained during harvesting without its modification, with weed and mineral impurities (earth, earth particles, spikelet rods and other impurities), as well as with excessive humidity.
The acreage is the area of arable land sown with agricultural crops.
Gross harvest – products produced (collected) from the entire area of sowing of various crops, agricultural plantations or other agricultural lands.
Harvested area is the actual area from which crops are harvested.
A greenhouse is a special room covered with any translucent material designed for year–round cultivation of greenhouse plants and seedlings; winter and spring greenhouses differ. Winter greenhouses include glazed heated greenhouses used throughout the year, as well as heated greenhouses under film, providing output in winter and earlier spring periods. Spring greenhouses are heated naturally.
The total area of greenhouses is the production area (used for plant cultivation, places for passage between them), as well as the area of utility, administrative, and auxiliary production facilities.
Perennial crops – grapes, citrus fruits, pome and stone fruits, fruit trees, shrubs and other nuts, oil-bearing fruits, spices, aromatic and pharmaceutical crops, other perennial crops.
Seasonal crops – cereals, legumes, oilseeds, vegetables and melons, root crops and tubers (potatoes, sugar beet), tobacco, fiber spinning crops (cotton, flax, hemp), other seasonal crops (forage crops, flowers).
Organic crop production is the production of agricultural crops, including the harvesting of wild plants, without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides and plant growth regulators, regulators and plant growth stimulators on a synthetic basis.
Post–processing weight (test weight) is the physical mass obtained after cleaning and drying the crop, that is, with a discount on the degree of humidity and clogging.
Irrigated agricultural land is land suitable for agricultural use and irrigation, having a permanent or temporary irrigation network.
Data on the specified sown and harvested areas, gross harvest and crop yields for agricultural enterprises and peasant or farm farms were obtained on the basis of a national statistical observation on form 29-cx "On harvesting crops". For households, these indicators are formed on the basis of data from household accounting of acreage and data from a sample survey in the form A-005 "On harvesting crops in households of the population".
