DEAR CITIZENS! The Department of the Bureau National Statistics of the Agency for Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Kostanay region (hereinafter referred to as the Department) conducts a monthly sample survey of the population, which will help to study the issues of employment and unemployment in Kostanay region. We guarantee that the information we receive from you will be strictly confidential and used only for statistical purposes. Your answers will provide an opportunity to have valuable information about the number of people working and unemployed, about employment problems, and ways to find work. In a consolidated form, these data will be used to prepare various programs to promote employment and social development in the regions. The choice of your family as a participant in the survey is completely random, since the households were selected mathematically, randomly from a Register in which all buildings with street names and house numbers and listed. We ask you to provide the necessary information. You will be asked a number of questions about your work during a particular week: what kind of work did you do, how many hours did you work, if not, for what reason. Your participations is very important, even if you are not currently working. The reliability of the examination results depends on your complete and detailed answers. To conduct the questionnaire, you will be visited by a specialist (interviewer) who will present the Department’s interviewer’s certificate. Changes have been made to the procedure for the implementation of state control in relation to respondents.
As part of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts on Business issues" dated April 6, 2024, amendments were made to Article 12-2 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Statistics".
Now, if respondents fail to provide primary statistical data within the time specified in the schedule for the presentation of primary statistical data by respondents, respondents will immediately be brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine without preventive control.
It is also worth noting that if unreliable primary statistical data is found, respondents will be notified of the need to make corrections to statistical forms. Adjustments can be made by re-submitting the statistical form or submitting additional information to confirm the reliability of the data within one working day (previously two days were submitted). If there are sufficient grounds indicating that the respondents provided unreliable primary statistical data, proceedings will be initiated on an administrative offense.
We ask all respondents to comply with the established deadlines and provide reliable data in order to avoid consequences.
It should be noted that these changes come into force on June 8, 2024 (60 days after the day of its first publication in the media).
