Definition of the Indicator
The production of all types of milk is the amount of actual milk produced from all types of farm animals (raw cow, sheep, goat, mare, and camel) during the reporting period. Wool production is the volume of wool obtained from shorn farm animals (sheep, goats, camels) for the period. Egg production is the number of eggs obtained from all types of poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys) over a certain period.

It is formed in accordance with the Methodology for the Formation of Statistical Indicators on Livestock Production.
Source of the Indicator
Nationwide statistical surveys “Report on the State of Livestock Production” (Form 24-skh, annual frequency) and “Production of Livestock Products by Individual Entrepreneurs, Peasant or Farm Enterprises, and Household Farms” (Form A-008, quarterly frequency).
Notes
The Turkistan Region and the city of Shymkent (a city of republican significance) were established in 2018; the Abai, Jetisu, and Ulytau regions were established in 2022.
