Structural statistics The number of large and medium-sized enterprises with more than 100 employees in the I quarter of 2026 amounted to 4247 units, of which 2661 enterprises are medium-sized. Based on the results of the survey, the balanced financial result of economic entities was determined as a profit in the amount of 4360,9 billion tenge, the level of profitability (loss) of production was 17,4%.
Production costs of which 55,9% - material costs, the share of labor costs and depreciation, respectively, 13,5% and 15,0%.
In the I quarter of 2026 the debt on obligations amounted to 89434,9 billion tenge, of which the overdue debt was at the level of 0,5%.
In the I quarter of 2026, accounts receivable amounted to 24593,2 billion tenge, of which overdue debt was 2,3%.
The value of the assets of enterprises amounted to 178388,9 billion tenge. The main share was occupied by long-term assets –62,1%.

According to the results of the survey of small enterprises for I quarter of 2026, the net financial result of economic entities was determined as a profit in the amount of 3 078,6 billion tenge.
The volume of expenses of small enterprises amounted to 8 242,5 billion tenge, of which 26,9%, material costs, the share of labor costs and depreciation, respectively, 16,1% and 9,2%.
For I quarter of 2026 the payroll of employees of small enterprises in the republic amounted to 1 153 thousand people, the average monthly salary of one employees was 389 426 tenge.
For the I quarter of 2026, income from the sale of products and the provision of services amounted to 16 724 billion tenge.
