As of February 1, 2024, 47.6% of cattle were in the households of the population; 42.2% - in peasant or farm enterprises and individual entrepreneurs; 10.2% - in agricultural enterprises; for sheep – 42.6%, 51% and 6.4%, respectively; goats – 65.5%, 33.2% and 1.3%; pigs – 41.3%, 8.9% and 49.8%; poultry – 18.4%, 1.1% and 80.5%.

Productivity of livestock indicators for January, 2024

In January 2024 the average milk yield per dairy cow increased by 3.5% compared to last year 2023, the average yield of eggs per laying hen remained at its level.

- for agricultural enterprises, individual entrepreneurs and peasant or farm enterprises with more than 100 employees, obtained on the basis of the monthly report of form No. 24-сх "Report on the state of animal husbandry";

- for small individual entrepreneurs and peasant or farm enterprises - on the basis of calculations, which are based on: data from entries in the accounting books of peasant or farm enterprises, sample surveys on the production of livestock products;

- for households - on the basis of calculations, which are based on: data from entries in household books, sample surveys of households on the production of livestock products.
