Multi-indicator cluster survey
The Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reform of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with the UNICEF Representative Office in the Republic of Kazakhstan, is working on the implementation of the project “Multi-Indicator Cluster Survey (hereinafter referred to as MICS 2024) for 2023-2025.
The purpose of the survey is to strengthen Kazakhstan's ability to monitor the protection of children's rights through reliable data and analysis. The implementation of this project will allow us to determine the level of well-being of children and women, as well as track progress in the effectiveness of the implementation of national programs and development plans.
From May 20 to June 19 of this year, work will be carried out to compile lists of households in all buildings of the cluster.
To compile the above lists, employees the RSI “Department of the Bureau of National Statistics Agency of Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the Pavlodar Region” will visit each selected cluster to enter into the form for compiling a list of households a description of each building indicating all its residential and non-residential units and the name of the head of the household of the residential unit.
This list will serve as the basis for the final selection of households in the MICS 2024 sample for field data collection from September 1 to November 30 of the current year.
