Definition of the Indicator
Healthcare expenditures are formed within the framework of state statistical observation using the statistical form "SOC FIN" (periodicity — annual). Data are provided by legal entities and (or) their structural and separate subdivisions engaged in activities under OKED 86, 87, and 88.

Methodology for Calculation
Government” and “Private” — the total amounts of government and private healthcare expenditures, respectively, taken from the relevant annual tables of the source (without a breakdown by the Guaranteed Volume of Free Medical Care (GVFMC), Mandatory Social Health Insurance (MSHI), or local budget). “Per capita” is calculated using the formula: expenditures / population of the region at the beginning of the year.
