Methodology for Calculation
The adjusted net enrolment rate in primary education is calculated as the net rate, taking into account grade-level adjustments within the relevant age group and applying the maximum adjustment coefficient.

Notes
Data for 2000-2017 for the South Kazakhstan region. The Turkistan region and the city of Shymkent (a city of republican significance) were established in 2018; the regions of Abay, Zhetisu, and Ulytau were established in 2022.
