Definition of the Indicator
Carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions per unit of value added is an indicator of the ratio between carbon dioxide emissions and value added.
Methodology for Calculation
Calculated as the ratio of total greenhouse gas emissions in CO2-eq (including land use, land-use change and forestry (LULUCF)) to GDP (by PPP, in 2017 prices, in international dollars).
