Definition of the Indicator
It includes the obligations of the central bank to ensure the growth of the broad money supply and credit: 1) cash (outside the NBK) - the national currency in cash issued by the NBK, with the exception of money held at the NBK's cash desks; 2) transferable and other STB deposits in national and foreign currencies; 3) transferable deposits of non-bank financial organizations and current accounts of state and non-state non-financial organizations in the NBK in national currency. The category of "Cash issued by the NBK" includes money issued in both physical and digital form.

The methodology for the formation of monetary statistics of Kazakhstan has been developed in accordance with the Guidelines on Monetary and Financial Statistics (International Monetary Fund, 2008 and 2016)
