Definition of the Indicator
The indicator is defined as the total number of residents with centralized water supply divided by the total number of residents in localities.
Methodology for Calculation
D=(N/M)*100, where: D – public access to water supply services in towns and villages;(result, source – data from the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan) N – the number of residents who have access to water supply services in urban and rural settlements, people (source – data from the Ministry of Economic Development); M is the total population in urban localities, people.(source – BNS ASPiR RK data).
