The average value of nominal wages in the Republic of Kazakhstan in the III quarter of 2024 amounted to 390328 tenge.
The growth by the corresponding quarter of 2023 was 11.3%, in real terms, the increase – by 2.7%.
The median value of wages (the central level of the salary range) was estimated in the III quarter of 2024, amounted to 269378 tenge.
Compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 the largest increase in average monthly wages was recorded in information and communication – by 28.1%, art, financial and insurance activities– by 24.3%, supply of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning – by 20.6%. In education the average monthly wage increased – by 9.9%, in health and social services – by 8%.

Regionally, the largest increase in average monthly nominal wages in the III quarter of 2024 compared to the corresponding quarter of 2023 was in the Shymkent city – by 16.1%, in the Almaty region – by 15.2%, in the Aktobe region – by 14.2% and Abay region – by 14.2 %.
The ratio between the maximum and minimum values of the average monthly nominal salary among the regions in the III quarter of 2024 was 2.3 times.
