The Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR of the RK and the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID” have signed a Memorandum of mutual cooperation in the field of Official Development Assistance.
The document was signed by Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Board of KazAID, and Maxat Turlubayev, Head of the Bureau of National Statistics of the ASPR of the RK.
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in organizing and conducting international events with the participation of representatives of least developed countries, in accordance with the classifications of the OECD, the United Nations, and the World Bank.
The partnership covers the organization of conferences, seminars, forums, competitions, as well as training and scientific events in the fields of economics, statistics, data management, and other areas related to the implementation of official development assistance objectives.
In addition, the parties intend to strengthen cooperation in developing and implementing joint international initiatives in the areas of official development assistance and statistics, exchanging publicly available information, and organizing sector-specific conferences, seminars, forums, roundtables, and other events aimed at enhancing international engagement and knowledge exchange.
It should be noted that KazAID serves as Kazakhstan’s national operator in the field of Official Development Assistance. The agency promotes Kazakhstan’s achievements across various sectors, supports the development of international cooperation, facilitates knowledge sharing, and fosters professional exchanges among specialists from different countries.
