Inflation in November 2024 was 8.4% year-on-year. Prices for paid services increased by 13.3%, non-food products – by 8%, food products - by 5.4%.
Compared with November 2023, tariffs for cold water increased by 43.1%, sanitation – by 25.7%, electricity, hot water – by 21.7%, central heating – by 17.5%, garbage collection – by 10.3%. Railway passenger transport services rose in price by 24.5%, the organization of complex recreation – by 22.3%, dental services – by 12.8%. Laptop prices have increased by 65%, kitchen stove – by 40.8%. An increase in prices was noted for acetylsalicylic acid by 27.6%, kanefron – by 24%, corvalol – by 21.9%, acyclovir – by 19.6%. Potatoes rose in price by 28.2%, cucumbers – by 25.9%, tomatoes – by 25.5%, olive oil – by 23.3%, sweet pepper – by 19.8%, garlic – by 18.4%. On the contrary, buckwheat groats fell in price by 21.6%, carrots – by 10.2%, lemon – by 8.9%, cabbage – by 8.5%, sunflower oil – by 5.3%.
The consumer price index, which characterizes the level of inflation, is calculated monthly. Observations are carried out on tariffs and prices for services and goods, for a total of 508 items. Dynamic changes in inflation can be viewed on a specially designed interactiveyes board , which covers indicators starting from 2018.
