In 2022, the most visited were libraries (51239.3 thousand visits), cinemas (17047.5 thousand visits), amusement and recreation parks (14273.7 thousand visits), museums (6097.3 thousand visits). At the same time, most of the events were held by cultural and leisure organizations (196.7 thousand units), theaters (15.4 thousand units), amusement and recreation parks (6.7 thousand events) and concert organizations (5.9 thousand units). units).
In the regional context, in 2022, the libraries of Almaty (5830.1 thousand visits), Turkistan (3914.3 thousand visits), Akmola (3518.2 thousand visits) and Abay (3457.3 thousand visits) became the most visited ) areas. The greatest attendance of film screenings falls on the cities of republican significance: Almaty - 6233.1 thousand visits, Astana - 3552 thousand visits, Shymkent - 1264.7 thousand visits. Most museums are visited in the Turkistan region (1492.5 thousand visits) and Astana (643.1 thousand visits).

In 2022, an increase in attendance and events was observed in all cultural institutions, due to the complete lifting of the restrictive measures associated with the pandemic.
The largest increase in attendance compared to 2021 is observed in circuses - more than 6 times, attendance at theaters and concert organizations increased by 2.3 times, attendance at movie shows increased by 2 times, the number of visitors to leisure facilities of amusement parks and recreation increased by 34, 1%, visits to zoos by 28.1% and museums by 19.1%.
In 2022, the number of events held by recreation and amusement parks increased by 4.4 times, the number of circus performances increased by 2.2 times, and the number of concert events (1.7 times), cultural and leisure events (1. 6 times) by organizations and theaters by 42.3%.
