In 2022, the average per capita nominal income of the population was 157 017 tenge

The average per capita nominal monetary income of the population in 2022 amounted on average per month to 157017 tenge and in nominal terms increased by 20.2% compared to 2021. Taking into account the consumer price index of this period (15%), the monetary incomes of the population in real terms increased by 4.5%.

The maximum value of per capita nominal monetary income of the population in 2022 was in Atyrau region (315 448 tenge), the minimum in Turkistan region (82 900 тенге).

The assessment is carried out according to the Methodology for calculating (estimating) nominal monetary incomes of the population.approved by order of the Chairman of the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 21.2016 No. 214.registered in the Register of state registration of regulatory legal acts on October 21.2016 No. 14350.


Nominal monetary incomes of the population are the funds directed by the population for current consumption, production activities and accumulation. Their value is determined by the calculation method at the macro level and includes an assessment of the monetary income of the population from wage and self-employment (with an account for the concealment of wages and non-coverage of the number of employed population by statistical reporting) and the payment of social transfers.

Average per capita income is calculated by dividing the total amount of income by the number of permanent population.


Real monetary income is nominal monetaryincome adjusted for the inftlationrate in the country.
