A meeting was held at the Bureau of National Statistics with representatives of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development “KazAID”. KazAID serves as a key operator in the area of official development assistance and is focused on promoting the socio-economic advancement of partner countries.
During the meeting, the Head of the Bureau of National Statistics, Maxat Turlubayev, provided an overview of the Bureau’s activities and briefed the guests on key projects and programs implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation with neighboring Central Asian countries.
For many years, the Bureau has been providing methodological support in various statistical domains in response to requests from the statistical offices of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan.
Special attention was given to the further development of the digital platform “Data Literacy Hub”, which aims to enhance statistical and data analysis literacy.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen their partnership through the signing of a joint Memorandum of Understanding and the development of a Roadmap for 2025–2027. This initiative is expected to foster deeper cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
