The volume of the produced Gross Domestic Product (GDP) for 2024 (updated data) amounted to 136693318,3 million tenge. GDP increased by 5% in real terms compared to the previous year.
In the structure of GDP for 2024, occupies the largest share are Almaty city (22,9%), Astana city (11%) and Atyrau region (11%).
GDP per capita in 2024 amounted to 6780,9 thousand tenge. By region the leading positions are occupied by Atyrau region (21177,5 thousand tenge), Almaty city (13844,9 thousand tenge), Ulytau region (11233,9 thousand tenge), Astana city (10174,3 thousand tenge) and on last positions are Turkistan (2175,6 thousand tenge), Zhambyl (2577,0 thousand tenge) and Zhetisu (3200,4 thousand tenge) regions.
High Gross regional product (GRP) growth rates are observed in Zhetisu (14,8%), Soltustik Kazakhstan (13,7%), Ulytau (10,7%) and Turkistan (10,4%) regions.
The share of the non-observed economy in the GDP of 2024 amounted to 16,71% and decreased by 0,87% compared to the previous year.
The largest shares of the non-observed economy in the Gross regional product are observed in the Turkistan (27,97%), Zhambyl (25,79%) and Zhetisu (25,46%) regions, the smallest – in Atyrau (8,37%),
Ulytau (10,75%) and Mangystau (13,01%) regions.
