The volume of the produced Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2025 (according to the revised data) amounted to 159608552,9 million tenge. In real terms, GDP increased by 6,5% compared to the previous year.
In real terms, the highest growth rates were recorded in the sectors of transportation and warehousing (19,4%), construction (17,5%), trade (8,1%), industry (7,7%), information and communication (6,4%).
High growth rates of Gross Regional Product (GRP) are observed in Turkistan region (13%), Soltustik Kazakhstan region (11,6%), and Astana city (10,2%). In the regional structure of GDP for 2025, the largest shares are occupied by Almaty city (22,7%), Astana city (12,3%), and Atyrau region (10,4%).
GDP per capita amounted to 7827,2 thousand tenge, or 15006,4 US dollars. By region, the leading positions are occupied by Atyrau region (23332 thousand tenge), Almaty city (15601,1 thousand tenge), Ulytau region (13831,8 thousand tenge) and Astana city (12370 thousand tenge).
The share of the unobserved economy in the GDP of 2025 amounted to 15,69% and decreased by 1,02 percentage points compared to the previous year. The largest reduction in the share of the unobserved economy in GRP is observed in the Ұлытау region (by 5,78 percentage points), the Abay region (by 4,43 percentage points), and the Atyrau region (by 3,92 percentage points).
