In February 2023, 157,9 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered ¹⁾, compared to the corresponding period last year, the indicator increased by 74,5%, including passenger cars - by 72,3%, trucks 2 times and buses 2,5 times increased.

Thus, as of March 1, 2023, the number of registered vehicles in Kazakhstan amounted to 4 584,5 thousand units, of which 88% were passenger cars, 9,9% were trucks and 2,1% were buses.

In February 2023, 1715 road accidents were registered, in which 2466 people were injured. In comparison with the corresponding period of 2022, the injured rate decreased by 8,4%.²⁾

As of March 1, 2023, 16 751 insurance payments in the amount of 9,5 billion tenge were made by insurance organizations for compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners. ³⁾
