In February 2025, 149.2 thousand units of motor vehicles were registered¹⁾,compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, the indicator increased by 9.2%, including passenger cars increased by 8%, trucks increased by 26.2% and buses decreased by 6.8%.

Thus, as of March 1, 2025, the number of registered vehicles in Kazakhstan amounted to 5791.7 thousand units, of which 88.1% were passenger cars, 9.9% were trucks and 2% were buses.

At the same time, of the total number of registered passenger cars, the largest share (43.5%) is made up of passenger cars with an engine capacity from 1500 to 2000 cube cm, with engine capacity up to 1500 cube cm– 20.2%, with engine capacity from 2000 to 2500 cc - 17.3%, with engine capacity from 2500 to 4000 cc – 14.8%, over 4000 cc – 1.9%.
