GDP per capita in January-December 2023 amounted to 6058,3 thousand tenge. By region the leading positions are occupied by Atyrau region (21401,2 thousand tenge), Almaty city (11310,4 thousand tenge) and Astana city (9247,0 thousand tenge) and on last positions are Zhetisu (2754,6 thousand tenge), Zhambyl (2547,1 thousand tenge) and Turkistan region (1955,5 thousand tenge).
The largest contribution to increase of GDP is observed in Almaty city (1,76 p.p.), Atyrau region (1,28 p.p.) and Astana city (0,47 p.p.).
Labor productivity for January-December 2023 (to preliminary data) in the economy amounted to 11461,4 thousand tenge per employee and showed an increase of 4,6% in real terms compared to the previous year.
