    According to the reported data, the current income of healthcare organizations amounted to 3471.2 billion tenge, of which the share of hospital income was 1911.2 billion tenge (55.1%), other activities for the protection of human health – 537.5 billion tenge (15.5%), general medical practice - 524,9 billion tenge (15.1%), special medical practice – 179.2 billion tenge (5.2%), dental activities – 154.2 billion tenge (4.4%), activities in the field of social services – 163.9 billion tenge (4.7%)

    The current expenses of healthcare organizations in 2023 amounted to 3345.6 billion tenge, of which the largest share was the cost of maintaining the labor force – 1796.1 billion tenge (53.7%) and the cost of purchased services – 428.2 billion. tenge (12.8%). The remaining expenses amounted to 1121.3 billion tenge (33.5%)

    The volume of services provided - the cost of services provided by healthcare organizations in the amount of funds that come from enterprises, organizations and (or) directly from the population (households) in payment for the services provided to them and are estimated as the income of the organization, which, in turn, is estimated at the cost of sales received or receivable.

    Services - activities aimed at meeting any needs of a person or society as a whole.

    Principal activity - a type of activity, the added value of which exceeds the added value of any other type of activity carried out by an economic entity.

    Secondary type of activity - a type of activity, in addition to the main one, which is carried out with the aim of producing products (goods and services) for third parties.

    The presented statistical tables provide data on the financial and economic activities of organizations with primary activities in the healthcare sector.
