Indicator:
Brief description:
This indicator describes the area of land withdrawn from productive turnover by type of land (mining and manufacturing land, land, allocated for technical infrastructure , transport, commercial, financial and communal organizations, residential territories and settlements).
Methodology:
The indicator is formed on the basis of the departmental reporting form No. 22-ZEM " Report on the availability of irrigated land and its distribution by categories, land owners, land users and land users» Committee a on land resources management of the Ministry of agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Unit:
The total area of land withdrawn is measured in km2 or ha; the share of the total area of land withdrawn from productive turnover on the territory of the country is expressed as a percentage.
Goal:
This indicator provides a quantitative assessment of the impact on the environment and characterizes trends in the distribution of built-up and used land that is not related to agricultural land, forest Fund, land of specially protected territories.
