What databases can be obtained in a de-identified form?

All official statistical information according to the plan of statistical work, which is formed by the state statistics authorities, can be obtained in a de-identified form.

How to get "database in de-identified form"?

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On State Statistics”, it is allowed to present and use de-identified databases for scientific purposes in the manner established by the authorized body, in accordance with the rules for the presentation and use of de-identified databases for scientific purposes.

Researchers must provide the following documents:
  1. Letter on request;
  2. Organizations of scientific and scientific-technical activities with a copy of the certificate of accreditation attached;
  3. Application for obtaining databases in a de-identified form for use in scientific and scientific and technical activities (Appendix 1);
  4. Obligation of non-disclosure and restriction of transfer of the database to third parties in a de-identified form (Appendix 2);
  5. The act of destroying the removable media containing the database in a de-identified form (Appendix 3).
