Thus, as of February 1, 2024, the number of registered vehicles in Kazakhstan amounted to 5348.9 thousand units, of which 88.1% were passenger cars, 9.8% were trucks and 2.1% were buses.

At the same time, of the total number of registered passenger cars, the largest share (44.6%) is made up of passenger cars with an engine capacity from 1500 to 2000 cube cm, with engine capacity up to 1500 cube cm– 18.6%, with engine capacity from 2000 to 2500 cc - 17.4%, with engine capacity from 2500 to 4000 cc – 15.1%, over 4000 cc – 1.9%.
